Over 35 top management professionals across departments and business functions attended the 'Search for the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine' (LDGM) hosted by EduRiser Learning Solutions (P) Ltd.
The half day open program conducted at Waterstones Country Club, Mumbai focused on the themes of leadership, team building, collaboration, planning and communications. Participants from varied industries thoroughly enjoyed the fun filled team building simulation. To name a few, participants from Panasonic India, Larsen &Toubro Ltd, Emerson, Siyaram Silk Mill Ltd., JP Morgan, Fiat, HayMarket, Pangea3, Aarvi Encon Pvt Ltd were part of the world class exercise on inter-team collaboration.
The Search for The Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine is a simulation engaging teams in a journey to mine as much Gold as they can in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. The situations that arise are designed to apply directly to real-time workplace situations. The program facilitator Mr. Shanawaz Mulla, Senior Project Manager, EduRiser Learning Solutions (P) Ltd said, 'Participants got totally engrossed and involved in the simulation, it seemed like a real-time situation where they actually tried to mine as much gold as they could. It hardly felt like a simulation because of the enthusiasm of the participants; it seemed so real."
Participants of LDGM opined that LDGM is an exciting, engaging and effective simulation; it involved intensive decision making, team work, resource planning and management. One of the participants stated, "LDGM taught that working as a team and making work more fun will yield better results."

EduRiser hosted the first ever Corporate Profitability Workshop in Mumbai. The workshop is a powerful means of developing Business and Commercial Acumen in a fun and collaborative environment. Master Facilitator, Philipp Von Both from Profitability, UK conducted this hugely successful 2 day Business Simulation for Managers across industry verticals.
Corporate Profitability is a board based business simulation that enlightens participants how their every decision can make a substantial impact on Balance Sheets, P & L, Pricing, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cash flow and hence of course Profitability. Profitability Simulations are quite new to India but they have created waves abroad with Harvard Business School, London Business School and few others conducting them as an essential part of their Finance Curriculum. Many reputed organizations too have chosen to run it with their teams, including Nestle, Siemens, GE Capital, Roche, Deloitte and GlaxoSmithKline.
